Aishwarya Bachchan Rai, nee Aishwarya Rai (born November 1, 1973, Mangalore, Karnataka State, India), is an Indian actress whose great beauty has made her one of the leading stars of Bollywood.
Rai grew up in a traditional South Indian home and was educated in architecture in 1994 when she was crowned Miss Universe. The title put her on the fast track of modeling business. He took on lucrative jobs with PepsiCo, Inc., and Vogue Magazine, and in 2003 he signed up as a spokesman for L'Oreal Paris. His acting career began in earnest with acclaimed performances in Euror (1997; The Duo) and… Aur Pyar Ho Gaya (1997; 1994 American film Only You). Both films helped break Rai into the forefront of the "new Bollywood" by breaking the typical simplistic structure of Bollywood films at the time.
